Lindsey ...... Amanda Root
Heathcliff/Morton ...... Mark Straker
Postman ...... Nick Warburton
Radio Times reviews it
here:
Sometimes you just want an easy listen; nothing that requires too much effort and yet is clever enough to keep you interested and alert. Nick Warburton's romantic comedy is just the ticket. Our narrator is Graham (Philip Jackson), a sensible lad who has a thing for Lindsey (Amanda Root), a large girl with an even larger capacity for fantasising: "I want to go someplace where I can run wild without causing structural damage." It was Lindsey who nominated her beloved Wuthering Heights for the book club that Graham joined just because she did. Strangely, the rather wellattended club has shrunk to just the two of them. That is, until Morton Ransome bursts through the doors, mysteriously dark and handsome. His appearance and consequent effect on Lindsey heralds the start of some farcical comings and goings, the outcome of which I won't spoil for you.
