We remind our readers of an alert for today, December 17, already present on our sidebar. BBC7 re-airs a Jane Eyre 1994 radio adaptation with Ciarán Hinds (three years before incarnating Mr. Rochester in the 1997 A& E version with Samantha Morton) and Sophie Thompson (yes, Emma Thompson's sister) as Jane Eyre. Other members of the cast include Angela Down and John Duttine. The radio drama was adapted by Micheline Wandor and directed by Cherry Cookson.
