No more news today nearly as exciting as Patrick Brontë's recently discovered letter but still we have a couple of things worth reporting.

Jonathan Warman from the New York Blade is most certainly NOT a fan of Jane Eyre the Musical:
Well, him [Schönberg] and co-director John Caird, whose direction of "Jane Eyre, The Musical" is one of the most heinous crimes against the theater and literature that I have suffered.
His loss, definitely!

And now a Brontëite in an unexpected place.
My guide through Pashtun culture was Hasan Khan, a 28-year-old Pakistani journalist who held a master's degree in English literature from Peshawar University. His favorite author was Emily Brontë. He was so blond and blue-eyed that he would have been mistaken for a westerner were it not for his salwar kameez, the loose-fitting tunic and trousers favored by Pakistani men. (John F. Burnett on TowardsFreedom.com)
It's great to hear that, especially after what we read a few days ago.
