Saturday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m.
On Saturday, November 4, actress, writer and director Carol Weakland, will perform Charlotte Bronte's romantic novel, "Jane Eyre", at the McKinley Birthplace Home at 11:00 a.m.
Jane tells her own story, enacting all of your favorite characters, such as the brooding Mr. Rochester, impetuous Adele, and the aristocratic Blanche Ingram.
Miss Weakland is perhaps best known for her performance as Emily Dickinson in "The Belle of Amherst", in which she has toured professionally since 1986. She is the writer/director of "The Arthurian Trilogy", a series of plays based on the tales of King Arthur, in which she plays Morgen of Avalon.
Miss Weakland is also the founder of the Great Expectations Theater Company, which brings classical literary works to the stage.
