The Cardiff Center for Lifelong Learning organizes two Brontë-related courses that start today, October 4 and tomorrow October 5.
Masterpieces of Literature: From Jane Eyre to Lady Chatterley’s Lover

Four extraordinary novels form the basis of this course: Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre, Anthony Trollope's The Way We Live Now, D.H. Lawrence's Lady Chatterley's Lover and Lewis Jones's Cwmardy. The texts are completed by Robert Lowell's autobiographical Life Studies. Please bring a copy of Jane Eyre to the first meeting.

In a pleasant, informal atmosphere, we shall consider two novels of the nineteenth century, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte and Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. We shall discuss their enduring popularity and their relevance to the twenty-first century. Please bring a copy of Wuthering Heights to the first meeting.
