The Bradford Radical Brontës Festival meets today, Saturday 23 Setember, the Bite the Mango Film Festival in the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television.
Siku Graphic Art Workshop

Saturday, September 23 - 15:00

Free event. Please phone Box Office on 0870 70 10 200 to reserve your tickets.
Born in Leicester, Siku is one of this country’s leading graphic artists having worked for 2000AD, Marvel and COM X. He has also worked on a number of games such as Evil Genius and is currently Visual Director of Elixir Studios. He is currently authoring another graphic novel and working on his first solo exhibition.

Siku has recently been commissioned to work with Yorkshire writer Adam Strickson to produce a graphic novel of the Emily Bronte classic, Wuthering Heights, as part the Radical Brontes festival.

The resultant graphic novel is a raw, brutal take on the tragic love story which reminds us of Heathcliff’s mysterious Asian heritage.

In this workshop Siku will talk about his career, explain how he developed the Wuthering Heights graphic novel and be available to give advice for aspiring graphic artists.
If you want to see samples and more information about this graphical adaptation of Wuthering Heights, check these posts of ours.
