Karie kindly sent us this picture of Ralph Lauren's new collection: Wuthering Heights. Neither the picture nor the actual clothes look much like something out of Wuthering Heights though - or do they?WUTHERING HEIGHTS
Inspired by the beauty of the English countryside, heritage looks are romanced with luxurious finishing touches.
We are still surprised by this undercurrent of so-called influences of the Brontës - mainly Emily - in the world of fashion.

It's ironic because Emily herself couldn't care less about keeping up with the latest fashions.
ReplyDeleteVery true. But then again this is not the first time it happens and I doubt it will be the last. In her afterlife Emily has been turned into some kind of fashion guru :P
