  1. Yes, I am really excited about seeing Ruth Wilson's performance! She looks very promising. Too bad we didn't see anything of Georgie.

  2. Oh, I was also expecting to catch some glimpse of Georgie! But the girl's voice saying Jane Eyre towards the end must be hers, right?

So far so good... Except for the music, which is weird. Do you think it's specially chosen for the trailer or it is actually the music composed for the series?

  3. I thought the music had a spooky tone to it, which added to the suspense. I have a hunch it might be part of the score for the series.

  4. Great clip; thanks! Haunting, intense and passionate, cannot wait for the 24th!

  5. mysticgypsy - I didn't dislike the music or the atmosphere it created per se. Only I found it a little too modern when - perhaps incorrectly - I had been expecting a more classical/traditional take. But I'm more than willing to give it a chance, you know!

tattycoram - yes! you described it very well. Bring on the 24th!

  6. The music used for the BBC Jane Eyre Trailer has nothing to do with the series as I've heard this music used as a trailer for a programme on another channel..I'd love to know who its by as the music is really nice...

  7. I think that the music used in the trailer is You never know off from Goldfrapp's Supernature.
