BBC7 will begin the broadcast of a radio adaptation of Charlotte Brontë's
Shirley in six parts, originally broadcasted in 2002.
Dramatised by Jane Rogers. With Adrian Bower, Emma Cunliffe, Deborah McAndrew and Brigit Forsyth. Directed by Susan Roberts. The episodes are the following:
Hollow’s Mill:Against the violence of the Napoleonic wars and the Levellers, Caroline's love for Robert struggles to survive.
