This is what we have reaped from our daily newsround:

The Windy City Times interviews British author Sarah Waters. When asked about the writers who have influnced her the most she replies:

But my favorite writers tend to be period writers, like Dickens and Bronte, 19th century writers when I was doing the Victorian stuff.

We see Bookslut has a review on The Brontë Project. Excuse our not quoting from it at all, but we are hoping to finally get to read this book in the near future and we don't want to be spoiled :)

And lastly we found this hilarious:

... after 15 years, you wish would just shut up ("Can't she at least keep her door closed if she's going to teach Wuthering Heights every damned year?").

Keep it wide open, we say!

  1. It's always incredibly nice to find that you share influences with your (other) influences :)
