The Brontë Parsonage Blog begins a series of posts focusing on the Brontë Parsonage staff. To open it, Richard Wilcocks talks to librarian Ann Dinsdale.

Reading what Ann has to say is a pleasure, but we will highlight a couple of things:

Our leads for the missing film of Wuthering Heights which was featured on the front page of the last Brontë Society Gazette seem to have dried up. It generated so much interest: if it does turn up, a man from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra would be interested in writing a score for it. A BBC documentary team and someone from the Culture Show rang me about the search, too.

That's so sad :(

I’m working with him [photographer Simon Warner] at the moment on a book to be called The Brontës at Haworth, to be published in September by Frances Lincoln.

We are really looking forward to seeing that book. We have heard things about it and it's looking very interesting and original!

Now - don't you really wish you could be so lucky too as to work at the Parsonage? Talk about dream jobs.
