Anne Brontë vs Christina Rossetti in Milano

Today, March 25, the Italian Section of the Brontë Society organizes an interesting meeting in Milano with the title: Lirica e misticismo nella poesia di Anne Brontë, Christina Rossetti (Lyricism and mysticism in the Poetry of Anne Brontë and Christina Rosetti). The speaker is Silvio Raffo.

As this post of the BrontëParsonageBlog explains, this is not the first time that Brontë's poetry is compared with Rossetti's: in this other post more information can be found about an Ian Emberson lecture given at the Parsonage itself in 2004 concerning the Brontë, Rossetti and Mendelssohn's families.
