Another book somehow Brontë-related that has appeared in the last months:

Yorkshire Greats: the county's fifty finest

Bernard Ingham, £19.99 Published by Dalesman.
Sumptuous colour-illustrated hardback on Yorkshire characters ranging from Guy Fawkes to Alan Bennett.

The Guardian reviews the book:

"It's the most dangerous book I'll ever write," he (the author) growled at the launch of his high risk attempt - two years in the making - to isolate the DNA strain EYC (Essential Yorkshire Character), by selecting the 50 finest natives of the county where he was born. (...)

Sir Bernard was firm about controversial winners: Emily rather than Charlotte Brontë because the latter was "a bossy boots" with less verve.

Bossy boots? Whoops. The complete list can be found here.
