A very curious exhibition opened yesterday 28 January at the
Cliffe Castle Museum in Bradford, UK.
28 January - 29 April 2006Bronzes and Paintings By Diane LawrensonThis is the first exhibition of life sized sculptures of the Bronte Sisters. The work captures the combination of vulnerability and strength that made their writing so unique. The museum also organizes some activities related with this exhibition:
Tuesday 21 February 11am - 4pmMuseum Magic: The Brontes in Bronze Cliffe Castle is playing host to ‘first time ever’ life size sculptures of the Bronte sisters. Try your hand at drawing them, a bit of portraiture or even painting the landscapes that inspired their work.Suitable for all ages. Saturday 18 March 11am - 4pm
