... or at least schedule them around Shared Experience's Jane Eyre, which will be on stage in London from May 1st to 12th at Trafalgar Studios, as reported by The Society of London Theatre.

Adapted and directed by Shared Experience co-Artistic Director Polly Teale from Charlotte Brontë’s classic, much-loved novel, this production focuses on the stark contrast between Jane’s strict Victorian upbringing and her passionate, imaginative nature which cannot be unleashed. In illustrating this, Teale draws parallels with Mr Rochester’s mad wife Bertha, who is locked up in his attic.

The production had a very successful run at the Young Vic in 1997 and now returns to London following an eight-city UK tour which kicks off on 2 February at Richmond theatre. Jane Eyre will open at Trafalgar Studio 1 on 12 May.

Brontë’s heroine will be played by Monica Dolan, while James Clyde takes on the role of Mr Rochester, and Miriam Acharki plays Bertha.

But that will be after the rest of their UK tour, which begins next February 2nd in Richmond. Click here to see all dates and venues.

Perhaps some of our readers out there will get to go and report back on it :)
