Some days ago, Brontëbloggers were discussing the scarcity of news related to Anne Brontë. Always the third one, always the forgotten one. Maybe for that, we are especially happy when information as the following one reaches us.

Time: Wednesday, October 19, 2005 7:00 PM
Location: The Toadstool Bookshop, Lordens Plaza Milford NH
Title of Event: The Classics Crowd meets

The Classics Crowd, a.k.a. The Dead Author Book Club, continues its exploration of 19th century British literature with a spirited discussion of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte. The group has decided to begin exploring American authors in 2006. Drop-ins welcome.

Even if we cannot be there tomorrow, we'd like to vindicate Anne Brontë's novel as one of the better ones of its period.
