The Globe and Mail proposed a challenge where readers could send in their ideas for real people replacing characters in works of fiction. Lucie Sparham from Toronto came up with the following:

Instead of orphan Heathcliff, Norman Rockwell is adopted at Wuthering Heights. Everyone lives happily ever after.

If Norman Rockwell would have spoiled all the "fun" of Wuthering Heights we much rather he stuck to his wonderful art! Though he could have painted Wuthering Heights and quietened all the speculation as to what the real-life model for the building was ;)

(Even if not Brontë-related, we advise you read all the entries - some are really hilarious!!)
