On the desolate English moors, two sisters and their maid carefully guard family secrets. When a governess arrives expecting a conventional post, she discovers unwritten rules, shifting alliances, and very real danger. In The Moors, every character aches to be loved, recognized, or feared — and at least one of them is willing to kill for it.

At turns humorous, savage, and seductive, Silverman’s dark comedy, steeped in Victorian atmosphere, takes inspiration from the Brontë sisters' celebrated novels to create a world all its own.
