An alert for today, July 26, at the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
Let's wish Emily Brontë a very happy birthday by getting out on the moor and making art!
Sat 26 Jul, 10:30am-04:00pm
The Brontë Space at the Old School Room, Haworth

With local artist Anji Timlin
Join me at The Brontë Parsonage in my home town of Haworth for a day of creativity and inspiration as we share Emily Brontë’s love of art, landscape, nature and poetry in this mixed media workshop. The day will include a walk up Penistone Hill and all art materials will be provided. No experience is required – just an interest in the natural world and how it shapes our creativity.  We’ll be using mixed media and creating notes in the landscape during our walk up to Penistone Hill then we’ll come back to the Brontë school
rooms to create our own Emily inspired moorland concertina art books.
Please don’t wear your best clothes and do come prepared for the weather, it could be wet, windy, sunny, hot and cold, or indeed, all of the above!
