A very theatrical alert at the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
This is a full-day event, taking place from 10am - 4pm
Price £35
The Brontë Space at the Old School Room, Haworth

**Please note, this event has been moved from Saturday 12 April to Sunday 13 April**

Come and join us as we explore the world of the Brontës with Polly Teale, theatre-maker and arts psychotherapist, whose trilogy of award-winning Brontë-inspired plays was first produced by Shared Experience Theatre Company.

Polly is joined by theatre-maker Chrissie Poulter and actors from Ilkley Players, who are rehearsing Polly’s 2005 play Brontë, which will run from 12 May to 17 May at Ilkley Playhouse.

Polly will share her approach to exploring a scene with the actors, then invite you to imagine yourself into the Brontës’ reality, bringing your own creative story to life. We ask why these extraordinary sisters continue to burn in our collective consciousness.

No acting or writing experience is required – just a willingness to participate!

Weather permitting, the workshop will include some time outside on the moor. There’ll be a break for lunch – feel free to bring your own or enjoy the cafés nearby.

This event is in partnership with Ilkley Playhouse. Places are limited, so early booking is advised.
