Suffolk's own Raconteur Theatre Company returns to Beccles with a new stage adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s, Jane Eyre. It is is the story of one woman’s fight for freedom and fulfilment on her own terms. Surviving poverty, injustice and a bitter betrayal before taking the ultimate decision to follow her heart. Following a childhood of suffering, Jane finds employment at Thornfield Hall, the home of Edward Rochester. As Jane and Rochester become inexplicably drawn to each other, the dark secrets locked within the walls of Thornfield start to unravel. A fiery stage drama for lovers of English Literature.
