An alert for today at the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
A day of storytelling with Sophia Hatfield...
Thursday 15 August, 11am - 4pm
Saturday 24 August, 11am - 4pm

Are you sitting comfortably...?
Join Storyteller-in-Residence Sophia Hatfield on Thursday 15 and Saturday 24 August as she performs live stories and songs inspired by the servants who lived and worked in the Parsonage.
Using a basket of everyday objects curated by designer Rachel Shore, Sophia will reveal the fabulous folk tales behind them. From cheeky boggarts to fierce witches and tiny toy soldiers, each original story is inspired by Yorkshire folklore, local history, and the incredible creative worlds crafted by the Brontë children.
These days of storytelling and music accompany our How to Build a Storyteller installation and wider programme of events based on our Brontës' Web of Childhood exhibition.
