The Guardian features broadcaster Melvyn Bragg.
But there are some subjects where Bragg has skin in the game and others where he is akin to the layperson. He has written 25 novels and studied modern history at Oxford, so it is no surprise that he knows more about Wuthering Heights than he does about dark matter.
