Today is the first of a series of Wild Wednesdays events at the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
July 26th 2023 12:00am - August 30th 2023 12:00am

Get creative this summer at the Brontë Parsonage Museum! Every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays you can enjoy a FREE creative workshop with one of our amazing visiting artists.

Here's what we've got coming up...

26 July - Leaf Garlands
Explore the different colours and shapes of leaves in the Museum garden to make a lovely paper garland you can hang at home.

2 August - Paper Mushrooms
Create your own fabulous fake fungi out of recycled pages of Brontë books! Just remember not to eat them…

9th August - Fantastic Fairies and Brilliant Beasties
Get hands on with clay and natural resources to create fabulously mythical and folkloric sculptural creations.

16th August - Wild Weaving
Use grasses, leaves, twigs and stems to weave a wall hanging inspired by the moorland landscape.

23 August- Hampa Zone
Get tapping with this enjoyable technique to create a leaf and flower transfer on fabric for a small hanging print or greetings card.

30 August – Cyanotypes
Try your hand at one of the oldest methods of photography – the cyanotype, which creates naturally blue toned images using direct sunlight.
