An alert from the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
Brontë Event Space at the Old School Room
This Thursday Talk will take place at 2pm on Thursday 20 April.
The online version of the Thursday Talk at 7:30pm, the very same day.

There have been many film adaptations of the Brontës work, with recent 2022’s 'Emily' taking a particularly high profile, non-traditional approach to engaging with the Brontë story.

We're going to reflect back on another non-traditional adaptation; Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights.
This talk will take a look at Arnold’s 2011 adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, examining the relationship to the original novel. We'll also think about the presentation of the Yorkshire landscape, and compare this to other films including God’s Own Country.

Our Talks are delivered by our knowledgeable Parsonage staff. This year we will be delivering them in person at the Parsonage, and online for anyone who can't make it to the Museum. Details on how to join are below.
This Thursday Talk will take place at 2pm on Thursday 20 April.
