Part of Being Human Festival
November 17th 2022 03:15pm - 05:30pm

Come and discover your own voices around being a woman and/or being LGBTQ+, all inside the inspiring setting of the Brontë Parsonage.

Book Launch and Discussion, 15:15-16:15 — Find out what people are writing now about the West Yorkshire novelists the Brontës, with a new collection of poems put together by Edwin Stockdale and Hannah-Freya Blake with an introduction by Jane de Gay from the Leeds Centre for Victorian Studies (Leeds Trinity University) to mark the Brontë centenaries.

Writing Workshop, 16:30-17:30 — Talk about the Brontës and Anne Lister, famous for the TV series Gentleman Jack, and write your own poems and stories coming out of the discussion and book launch.

This event is organised by Leeds Trinity University, and any queries must go through them.
