An alert for tomorrow, July 29 at the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
Friday 29 July 2022
July 29th 2022 07:30pm - 09:00pm

The Brontë Parsonage and Haworth will soon be featured in cinemas across the world, with the release of 'The Railway Children Return' and the upcoming 'Emily' film. Get in the spirit and join us for a special Parsonage Unwrapped. We will take a look at some of the iconic moments in film and television in which the Bronte family and their work are bought to life; journeying to the Hollywood hills and coming back to the Yorkshire moors.

  1. The best Brontë adaptation is the BBC's 1983 Jane Eyre. The worst are the 1939 Wuthering Heights (watched it in class...what a waste of time) and the 1996 Jane Eyre (almost walked out of the cinema, it was so bad).
