Certainly a book that caused some impression in her. In 1915, Dora Carrington wrote to her friend, the artist Christine Kuhlenthal:
"I am reading Wuthering Heights again. How excellent it is!" (Carrington's Letters: Her Art, Her Loves, Her Friendships, 2017)
