An alert for today, September 13, in Otley:
Living with the Brontës
Otley Courthouse, West Yorkshire, LS21 3AN
Fri 13 Sep 2019, 7:30PM

This illustrated talk is given by Ann Dinsdale, Principal Curator at the Bronte Parsonage Museum. She will be talking about the whole Brontë family with special attention being given to Patrick, whose time as Minister in Haworth included much work on trying to improve the health of the Haworth residents (who at that time had an average life expectancy of 25 years). Ann will draw on her experience as curator and give us information about the lives of all the family, bringing in some of the details that people may not be as familiar with, and using images of items from the Museum’s collection as illustrations.
