It is a dark and stormy night. On the eve of her departure for a long journey, Émilie is preparing to host dinner for her roommates—the fiery Édouard and Isa, who is unknowingly caught in a love trap—and their litt professor, Marie-Hélène. Émilie’s sister Catherine, whom she hasn’t seen in a long time, unexpectedly shows up at their doorstep, visibly shaken, her taciturn boyfriend in tow. As the evening progresses, our six young idealists find themselves drowning in their thirst for the absolute, slowly revealing their increasingly apparent similarities with Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights iconic characters.

A discussion with the artists, the author and the director will follow the reading.
