Acclaimed novelist and distinguished critic Stevie Davies, author of four books on Emily Brontë, considers the place of animal life in Wuthering Heights and Emily’s poetry; her reverence for and fellowship with the instinctual life of the animals and the beauty and suffering of the planet.
