Branwell Brontë returns to Halifax today, March 15:
Historian, David Glover presents
Branwell Brontë and his Halifax Friends

Wed 15 Mar, 2:00pm
Tickets: £6 (£4 Concessions)
Square Chapel Arts Centre
Halifax

200 years ago, Branwell Brontë was born a few miles from Halifax. His sisters were to achieve worldwide fame, but Branwell had poems published in Halifax long before they went into print. By no means as successful as his sisters in the literary field, he showed great talent; but what went wrong? David Glover looks at this capable but flawed young man and invites you to discover his local acquaintances, for Branwell spent much time in Calderdale. A fascinating insight into the brother of the Brontë sisters.
