Q: In a blog, you mention your concept of Girl Gothic. Can you explain that?
A: “I grew up reading Gothic romance like ‘Jane Eyre’ and dark mysteries where the heroine tries to solve the mystery with paranormal elements. I wanted to write about a heroine who is not helpless, but helps the hero. It’s an empowered heroine. (Ginnie Graham)
