Victorian Hair Jewellery demonstration

An alert from the Brontë Parsonage Museum for today, Yorkshire Day:
Servant's Room, Brontë Parsonage Museum
Times: 11am - 1pm and 2 - 4pm

Some of the most intriguing items in our collection are those made from the Brontës' hair. During the Victorian era, hair was often woven into jewellery for remembrance. See conceptual artist and historian Donna Lowson guide us through the history of Victorian hairwork and show us the process of creating hair jewellery during your visit!
