Theatre Caddis presentsby Eleanor ZealyJuly 24-25The Hope and Anchor, 207 Upper St, London N1 1RL, United KingdomIn a farcical and hilarious production, Jane Eyre fanatics gather to re-enact their favourite novel. Squabbles over the best lines and interpretations ensue. Real emotions and revelations are experienced as the attendees navigate Jane's rags to riches story.Optional audience participation. Unrealistic violence.Mild raunch.Bonnets.
EDIT: The Theater Reviewer posts about the production:
The Jane Eyre Convention is an inventive, charming and genuinely funny piece of fringe theatre which celebrates both its literary inspiration and the wonderfully passionate people who adore it. Cleverly written, confidently directed and performed by a cast clearly having as much fun as the audience, it proves you don't need to know every page of Jane Eyre to have a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
