It's a shame that this Book Riot article/quiz telling readers how to pronounce authors' names correctly comes with a pretty big blunder:
It’s always a mental battle to decide whether it’s worth correcting a customer on how they’re saying an author, especially if they’re way off — like, adding or subtracting multiple syllables off, or asking for books by Jane Eyre off. (Danika Ellis)
Well, in the case of Jane Eyre it's going to be off however you pronounce it.
La Razón (Spain) recommends watching the 1971 Spanish adaptation of Jane Eyre.
Jane EyreEspaña, 1971, DRAMA DE ÉPOCA, 30 minutos (1 temporada, 15 episodios).Hubo un tiempo en que RTVE se atrevía con todo, hasta adaptar el apasionado romance gótico de Charlotte Brontë sobre la joven institutriz Jayne y el atormentado Rochester. Una delicia arqueológica con la estupenda María Luisa Merlo. RTVE.es (Jesús Palacios) (Translation)
It's available here.
Owlcation discusses Agnes Grey. And more Anne Brontë as The Sisters' Room visits St Mary’s Church and churchyard in Scarborough.
