Emily Brontë Rose

The Sunday Times's gardening section highlights new plant varieties:
Rosa ‘Emily Brontë’

David Austin Roses’ new introduction is named for one of our best-loved authors; the same breeder also has a crimson rose called Heathcliff. This one is very healthy, with beautifully formed rosette blooms of soft apricot pink and a delicious fragrance described as “initially tea, but becoming more old rose as the flower matures, and finally with hints of lemon and grapefruit”. Sounds irresistible. (Rachel de Thame)
