Lightning Strikes Twice: Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and the Brontë SistersCategories: Alert, Talks
Suzanne Fox
Who would have guessed that two of the nineteenth century's greatest novelists would come from the same obscure Yorkshire family? Whether you are new to the Brontë sisters, a longtime fan of Jane Eyre and/or Wuthering Heights, or somewhere in the middle, don't miss this celebration of two astonishing books and two remarkable female lives. The Saturday session is a lecture on the sisters, their lives and work, and the novels. Sunday is an optional showing of one film version of Jane Eyre, with time for questions and answers. You need not have read either novel to enjoy the class.
