In Saint Louis:
The Mystery of Irma Vep
by Charles Ludlam
Directed by Nelson T. Eusebio III
Repertory Theatre St Louis
February 12 – March 8, 2020

Classic horror, B-movie mysteries and wild farce get tossed into a blender in this feverish, supernatural sprint. On a dark and stormy night, the howls of a werewolf echo across the moors, a newly revived mummy stirs in its sarcophagus and a mysterious portrait holds the key to an ancient family curse. Two actors bring this diabolical tale to life, with the help of a few dozen costume changes and a lot of wigs.
In Woods Hole, MA:
“Lesser Known Works by Well Known Authors”
The Woods Hole Public Library will again be holding a book group led by librarian Kellie Porter, who holds a Masters Degree in English, specializing in Victorian literature. People may remember her popular book group from last year which studied the most recent translation of the “Odyssey”.

The first book which will be discussed is “Villette” by Charlotte Bronte. Kellie claims that this title is actually her very favorite Bronte novel, which says a lot, since she is a big fan of “Jane Eyre“. The “Villette” discussion will be held on February 13  from 4-5 PM.
