A highlight of the Brontë Society calendar, the 2016 Literary Lunch will feature a talk by the eminent Brontë scholar Juliet Barker - former curator and librarian and the Brontë Parsonage Museum and author of the seminal biography The Brontës.
And a new exhibition opening today in Thornton, Bradford:

Young Roots | Home

Home is an exhibition created by a group of young women, who are celebrating the life of Charlotte Brontë during her Bicentenary of her birth in the village of Thornton.
Through photography, film, poetry and painting the group have created an exhibition which celebrates the life of Charlotte and gives us a glimpse into her extraordinary life.
This exhibition is part of the Young Roots project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
