The Off the Shelf Festival of Words Sheffield 2016 includes several Brontë alerts:
Brontë Light Night

Two original songs by Sheffield songwriter Nat Johnson have been turned into animated films that will be projected on to the front of the Upper Chapel as part of a special commission celebrating 200 years since the birth of Charlotte Brontë.   After the Sheffield premiere the film, which has been created by Word Life, will be shown in Doncaster and the Brontë Parsonage. The project was funded by Arts Council England

To mark the start of the Brontë 200 celebrations, Off the Shelf, Ilkley and Beverley literature festivals have commissioned three writers to produce new work inspired by the famous literary siblings. Guardian First Book Prize Winner poet Andrew McMillan, former Monkey Swallows The Universe singer/songwriter Nat Johnson and acclaimed playwright Zodwa Nyoni perform their newly commissioned work followed by a discussion about the Brontës as a source of inspiration.
