This weekend, 10th and 11th September, at St Mary's Parish Church, Church Lane, Mirfield, a heritge weekend will take place at the church with its interesting history. At 2pm on Saturday and 2.30 on Sunday, the church's connection to all three Brontë sisters will be discussed.

Also on view, in order to celebrate Brontë 200, will be photos of the descendant of the Brontës' cousins, Patrick Brontë's two married brothers William and Welsh and also their sister Sarah as well as past photos of the family.
