An alert from the Brontë Parsonage Museum: the presentation of Reader, I Married Him:
Reader, I Married Him
Thursday 7 April 2016, 7.30pm
Location: The Old School Room and the Brontë Parsonage Museum

*Salley Vickers was originally advertised to appear at this event, but has had to pull out due to illness. Her fellow contributor, Audrey Niffenegger, will appear in her place.*

Commissioned specially for Charlotte Brontë's bicentenary year, Reader, I Married Him (2016) features stories from some of the finest and most creative voices in international contemporary women's fiction. The collection is edited by Tracy Chevalier, and published by Borough Press.
The twenty-one stories in Reader, I Married Him - one of the most celebrated lines in fiction - are inspired by Jane Eyre and shaped by its perenially fascinating themes of love, compromise and self-determination.
Tracy Chevalier and fellow contributors Helen Dunmore and Audrey Niffenegger will visit Haworth to read from the anthology. There will also be an opportunity to view the 2016 exhibition Charlotte Great and Small, and celebrate the book launch with an author signing and exclusive reception at the Museum.
